Malaga is the closest airport only a 25 minute drive
along the coast.
There is a train service from the airport with
trains every 30 minutes to Fuengirola (Local bus & taxi rank
next to Train station). The Marbella bus runs every 30 minutes and
stops in the centre of La Cala.
If you reserve your airport taxi(s) via us, the driver
will have the property keys. Please ensure that you
provide your flight details into Malaga airport on your booking.
Airport to La Cala taxi is usually 50€. Please
pay the driver directly. We do not charge for ordering the taxi for
you. We only order the official licensed Spanish Mijas Taxi Company
for you. (Max 4 in a taxi by law in Spain including toddlers). The
Taxi driver(s) will be holding a card displaying your name as you
enter the arrivals exit area. If you require a taxi for your
return, please book it direct with the driver. We do not order
return taxis.
If you do not wish to reserve an airport transfer taxis via us,
then the keys to your accommodation can be collected from our La
Cala property managers office. Details will be provided upon
payment of your balance.
Car hire
We don't book car hire for our guests.
